The sensible objections.
If you're sceptical, good. This work is about questioning things rather than swallowing another belief system.
Are you saying ambition, money or material things are bad?
No. A car can just be a car, money can just be money and success can just be success. The work is looking at the meaning you have attached to them and whether you need them to tell you who you are.
Do I have to give everything up?
No. My own story involved stripping things away for a period, but that is not the prescription. Non-attachment is internal. The aim is freedom from needing external things, not compulsory rejection of them.
Is this therapy?
No. This is coaching and personal/philosophical development. It does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions, eating disorders, addiction or other clinical issues. Where clinical support is appropriate, that sits outside this programme.
Is this spiritual?
The work is informed by non-dual and spiritual ideas, but you do not have to accept a religion or metaphysical belief system. You are invited to test ideas against your own experience.
What if I'm sceptical?
Scepticism is useful. I am not looking for agreement. I am looking for willingness to investigate honestly.
What actually happens on a coaching call?
We use the current module as a lens, examine what happened in your real life, look at the thoughts and meanings underneath it, and identify where automatic patterns were choosing for you. The work is conversational, direct and practical.
Why approximately six months?
This is not information to consume in a weekend. The modules are designed to be lived between calls so real triggers, relationships, work situations and decisions become part of the work.
Will you tell me what decisions to make?
No. The aim is less dependence on external authority, not more. I may challenge what you are telling yourself, but the goal is to help you see clearly enough to choose.
What if I still want more money, a better body, a relationship or a bigger business?
Good. Keep what you genuinely want. The interesting question is whether you can want it without needing it to make you whole.
What do you mean when you say “the love is already there”?
It is the working premise that worth, love and wholeness are not things the external world can manufacture for you. The programme investigates the blocks, stories, meanings and identities that may obscure your experience of them.
Who is this not for?
It is not for someone looking for a quick motivational hit, another strategy for becoming more impressive, or coaching that simply agrees with them. It also is not appropriate where someone primarily needs clinical mental-health, addiction or eating-disorder treatment.
